Buddy's Diner sits on Coburg Road in Eugene, serving breakfast and lunch seven days a week from 7am to 2pm. Inside it's all retro: chrome stools, vintage signs on the walls and a counter where regulars catch up with the staff.

The food is classic American and the plates come out generous: burgers, country fried steak with a homemade biscuit, maple bacon French toast, eggs and hash browns. Vegetarian dishes and a children's menu are on hand too.

Come in and sit down, or call ahead for takeout. Prices stay friendly, cards are welcome, and the building is wheelchair accessible from the parking lot to the restroom.
